ARCHITECT

Doug has been a member of the firm since 2009. Doug oversees all production work and coordinates engineering efforts. He and his photographer wife Wendy have called Nantucket home since 1994.

DIRECTOR of INTERIOR DESIGN

Kristine has recently joined the firm expanding the scope of client services to include Interior Design. She received a Masters in Arts in Interior Design from the New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University. While in Boston Kristine worked on a variety of residential projects, one of which led to her first trip to Nantucket. Her career took her to New York City as she ventured into hospitality and then retail design. With a strong desire to call Nantucket home, Kristine has recently moved to the island.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Max recently joined the firm after receiving his Masters in Architecture at Rhode Island School of Design. With a focus in sustainable processes, Max studied biological systems and how they serve as filtration and purification techniques in remediating adjacent ecosystems and treating on-site wastewater. Born and raised on Nantucket, Max is passionate about coastal ecological design and the role designers play in shaping its future.

INTERIOR DESIGNER

Emilie is a new addition to the interiors group. She received a Master in Arts in Interior Design from New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University. She has been practicing for over two decades – focusing primarily on residential interior design & architecture throughout New England. She splits her time between Boston and Nantucket, drawing design inspiration from both the city and island landscapes.

INTERIOR DESIGNER

Tad is new member to the island community and the newest member of the MCA team. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in interior design from Paier College of Art he quickly became immersed in both residential and commercial design. During this time he found a niche for designing custom furniture and millwork, a skillset which he now brings to his role as MCA’s interior architectural designer.

OFFICE MANAGER

Stephanie Dallas joined the firm in 2012. Stephanie not only manages daily office operations for the firm but is involved with assisting in all aspects of interior specifications. A Nantucket resident for much of her life, she and her husband Will are raising two active girls.
