Quidnet Views

Our clients are often drawn to a certain part of the island, perhaps because they spent childhood summers in the area or rented a vacation home in the recent past. In this case our clients, a young family that was eager to create new memories in a home they could call their own, were drawn to Quidnet.
Nestled along a ridge with views to the pond and Sankaty Head Light, the home needed to meet some challenges. It had to be large enough to accommodate a growing family, yet reflect the scale of the small Quidnet village. We developed a plan that would give the appearance of a modest home from the road and step down with the natural contours of the hillside. The end result did just that, with wings that embrace an outdoor living space to enjoy the warm morning sun or sit by the fire at sunset.
The clients desired a clean interior with contemporary Nantucket details, setting the stage for their collection of art. We are pleased with how this home nestles within the Quidnet landscape while still checking all the boxes for our clients.
